Vintage Jitona stools, Czechoslovakia, 1979

A rare pair of vintage stools made by Jitona in Czechoslovakia in 1979, highlighting the understated elegance of mid-century modern design. Each stool features a gently curved wooden frame supported by four tapered legs, complemented by a removable padded cushion in a distinctive beige and brown geometric pattern. The warm tones of the natural wood beautifully contrast with the decorative textile, creating a timeless vintage look suitable for a variety of interiors. The upholstery has been renewed while preserving the original design and character of the stools. Their compact proportions make them versatile additions to a living room, waiting area, bedroom, or reading nook. They can be used as footrests, occasional stools, or decorative accent pieces.
