Notary's curtain cabinet in light oak (very good condition)

Very beautiful flat curtain filing cabinet, known as a notary cabinet, in blonde oak (1960s). The flat slats of the curtain, which are more often rounded, create a lovely trompe l'oeil and add an undeniable touch of modernity to the design of the piece. This feeling is further enhanced by the blonde hue of the oak, perfectly in line with our current interiors. It is also fully functional, as the filing cabinets and folders have not changed shape, and it is space-saving. The curtain slides perfectly, rolling up into the hidden snail under the lower skirting board. The key, lock, and keyhole are original and also perfectly functional. Inside, there are 7 original plywood shelves, as evidenced by the reddened edge. They are adjustable according to needs. There is a faint, old mark on the curtain that is barely noticeable (see photo) and signs of wear, but it is in very good condition and has great brightness. H: 143.5 cm. W: 40.5 cm. D: 35.5 cm.
