Glass gilded brass coffee table by Georges Geffroy circa 1960

Very rare round coffee table with gilded brass base designed and edited by georges geffroy in the 1960s. The asymmetrical four-legged brass base is superb, and very modern for the time. The table has a new glass top. The base has been completely restored and repolished, and is in superb vintage condition. A very rare piece, testimony to the modernism of the decorator georges geffroy. Reference: georges geffroy 1905 – 1971, a legend of the great french decor by pierre arizzoli-clémental, 2016, p62.
