Louis XVI armchair

Authentic armchair louis XVI square back. True period and no style (irregular canelures, pegged feet, wood against fabric of the unplaned backrest..., so many manufacturing clues that do not deceive). So we forgive him his small defects because he still has several centuries on the counter: - small lack on a foot, eaten by old mini inhabitants - slight lack of wood sometimes but little visible because ultra patinated wood - seat which is no longer the most comfortable however still operational and the strapping has been fully reinforced by new elastic straps laid in checkerboard, as it should be. When you look at it carefully, you notice its history over the years. One foot has been restored, we can observe a very slight difference in the color of the wood on the replaced piece the tapestry is beautiful general condition, clean and not holed. A favorite piece!
