Office chair by Charles Pollock for Comforto

Swivel office chair designed by Charles Pollock and produced by Comforto, circa 1980. The enveloping shell in black plastic, upholstered in beige faux leather, follows the belted backrest principle that has made the American designer famous. It rests on a swivelling column and a five-legged star base in black lacquered cast iron, finished with metal glides. Height 86 cm, width 60 cm, depth 64 cm. The faux leather is intact, with signs of use and slight soiling on the seat; the shell and base are in good condition and the mechanism swivels freely. Seat height: 48 cm. Dimensions: Width: 60 cm.
