This set is a tableware and decorative service made of glazed ceramic barbotine, manufactured in France by the Francilian factory Verceram, active in Montreuil from 1930 to 1971. This lot specifically belongs to their second production period (from the 1940s to the 1950s), characterised by a return to influences from flora. The central decoration: The interior of each dish faithfully imitates the veins of a leaf through deeply moulded relief flutes and striations. The colour palette: The glossy glazing uses three major autumnal shades: a deep fir green, a warm hazelnut brown, and a sunny mustard yellow. The borders: The back and the rim (the smooth outer border) of the pieces feature a matte finish in cream white or eggshell, creating a sharp visual contrast with the colourful heart of the leaf. Very good condition, no cracks. 1 round trivet diameter 22 cm. 4 bottle coasters diameter 12 cm. 1 yellow dish diameter 14 cm. 3 leaf-shaped platters 21 by 10 cm. 4 leaf-shaped dishes 14 by 12 cm. 3 trivets 26 by 28 cm.
