Ct2 chair by willy van der meeren for tubax. Vintage. 50s / 60s. Structure in black lacquered tubular steel. Seat and backrest in skaï (imitation leather) light grey. The metal shows few signs of use consistent with its age (but no rust). The original upholstery is also in (very) good condition (except for a small hitch at the top of the backrest (see photos). The brand tubax (belgium) is well known to lovers of industrial style. This belgian brand reached its peak under the artistic direction of the great designer willy van der meeren.
