3377 – liane vase – henri delcourt porcelain - art deco superb pure art deco design for this porcelain vase signed liane by henri delcourt (1872-1963) la madeleine factory in boulogne-sur-mer in good condition. Micro chip at the base and presence of a hair without any importance. Signed liane in black on the base and below the letters hd separated by an anchor with made in france also numbered in black 1371. Shape evoking a lighthouse with polychrome stylized decoration. Beautiful piece for collector or lover of this factory associated with those of desvres. Height 261 mm X 124 mm. Weight 650 g. Careful and tracked shipping. For information, henri léon ulric delcourt (1872-1963), doctor of law and banker, bought this factory in 1918 from its creator jules verlingue. He operated it until its sale in 1932 in the purest art deco style, modeling his working methods on those of jules verlingue. It disappeared in 1935. The signature liane is related to the river of the same name flowing into the sea at boulogne-sur-mer.
