Syrian set, late 19th century

Set of two dagobert-style armchairs and two chairs, syria, late 19th century. Carved wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl, decorated with inscription in thuluth. The four seats are folding, their functional mechanisms. Some gaps in mother-of-pearl inlays on the chairs only. Lacks a tip (ball) hides mechanism on one of the chairs, not harming the strength of the latter. Each seat is unique and has unique décor. Good general condition, very nice patina. Chair dimensions:  Height: 105 cm. Width: 65 cm. Depth: 65 cm. Chairs dimensions: Height: 102 cm. Width: 46 cm. Depth: 54 cm.
