6 speckled midnight blue stoneware dinner plates

Set of six flat plates made from artisanal stoneware from Berry. Night blue speckled glaze. Shades of cobalt blue and slate, punctuated by small dark inclusions that give each piece a unique decoration. Simple shape with slightly raised edges. The turning circles remain visible under the glaze, while the raw beige ochre underside reveals a pyritic textured clay. Traditional pottery from Berry, a region historically linked to stoneware, with the village of La Borne being one of its emblematic centres. Each piece bears a handwritten signature on the underside along with the mention "Bourges Cher". In excellent vintage condition. The slight variations in shape, hue, and small irregularities in glazing typical of their artisanal production, along with small chips on the edges (see photos). Diameter 24 cm. An intense night blue.
