Vintage black leather lounge chair designed by girsberger eurochair in 1978. The black leather as well as the chrome frame are in a good condition. The swiss entrepreneurial group girsberger, founded in 1889 by heinrich girsberger, was a renowned manufacturer of seating furniture. Known for designing over 35 seating pieces, notably the saffa chair for dietiker in 1955 and the litfass column for wogg. Eichenberger's designs are featured in collections worldwide, such as moma in new york, the vitra design museum, and the museum of design in zurich.
