Fully restored, beautiful patina, wood sanded + wax finish. Original rubber pads. Base: 39X39cm. A bit of history… The Bienaise chair was born in Paris in 1921 from the imagination of two Americans: Frank and Harry Nelson. The first French chair designed for "OFFICE" use, its global success spanned from the 30s to the 70s. Height-adjustable and with an adjustable backrest, it revolutionised ergonomics at work and in workshops. From typists to workers, everyone had their model in wood, vinyl, or boiled cardboard; stool without a backrest or fixed or adjustable chair.
