The superior quality circular extension dining table, veneered in rosewood, was designed in 1956 by grete jalk, one of the most famous female designers of the danish mid-century period. This model 'pj 2-5' was manufactured by p. Jeppesen in the 1960s, as validated by the preserved manufacturer’s label. The table features one additional leaf 55 cm wide, perfectly matched with the wood grain of the tabletop. The beautiful finish made out of solid rosewood sculptured moldings on the rim gives the table a unique look, making it a decoration in itself.  The table can be extended to a maximum of 174 cm, providing a comfortable seat for 6-10 guests.  The superior quality is confirmed by the danish control label, constituting a distinction for furniture manufacturers. It shows a captivating grain of rosewood veneer. Slender tapered legs of solid rosewood emphasize the danish origin while adding elegance and chick to the whole. Dimensions of extendable table: h: 72 / w: 174 / d: 119 cm. Height to the apron: 63 cm. Our team checked the table thoroughly. The sliding mechanism works smoothly. We cleaned and preserved the surface with professional compounds. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring furniture back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old. Excellent condition with minor traces of use.
