Vintage cake serving plate

Cake plate with handles (or serving dish with integrated handles). Period: Art Deco period (1920s-1930s), probably from Bohemia (former Czechoslovakia). Style: A modernist design characterised by clean lines and a geometric pattern of stylised cherries (red and black circles), enhanced with a golden trim on a scalloped edge. Origin: Probably made in Czechoslovakia (Bohemia), by the Victoria AG factory (Altrohlau). The graphic decoration of red and black circles on stems is in the constructivist Art Deco style of the 1920s-1930s. The item has aged, the gilding has worn off in places, and some scratches unfortunately appear (see photos).
