Description
Set of two color engravings of drawings by robida: "i could show you more than fourteen antique and aromatizing roustisseries" (n° 17) and "gapes de la cour dans les jardin du château"; chromotypogravures (gillotage process), taken from the book "les oeuvres de rabelais" published at the librairie illustrée in 1885/1886. Dimensions of the engravings 17 X 23cm in mat, format with frame 26 X 33cm. Identical frames: in gilded wood and protective glass with wall mounting ring on the back. - albert robida (1848 - 1926) is a french illustrator, caricaturist, engraver, journalist and novelist. - charles gillot (1853 - 1903) is a french printer and engraver, creator of the photoengraving process called "gillotage". Possibility of selling individually on request weight of the packaged lot 2kg.
