Pair of old solid wood school benches

These two solid wood benches, apparently from the fruit tree, have a wonderful patina! The seat has been polished by everyone who has sat on it over the decades, they were probably school desks at one time. They have crazy charm! The legs have a nice shape, all round, like the ends of the benches. They have probably already celebrated their 100th birthday! I cleaned them carefully then brushed them generously (see soaked in places) with white vinegar (and dried in the sun). This is my natural method to replace chemical insecticide to treat the relatively numerous beetle holes on these benches. The gimlet holes seem old to me, and therefore not active, but out of conscience I treated them all the same. These benches are still very solid but do not hide their age: various marks, scratches, stains, chips, cracks. I also offer them for sale separately (click on “view store” to find them). If you wish to acquire both, I thank you for carefully reading the descriptive sheets for each of the benches, where I precisely list the faults of each and for taking a good look at the photos, which are much more numerous, on the individual units posted online. They measure 145 cm in length, 45 cm in height, the seat measures approximately 18 cm in width and is 3 cm thick. And the width measured at the feet is 25 cm.
