Oil on canvas, unknown artist, possibly Danish School, end of 20th century. Overall dimensions: 94 X 73, 5 cm. A well-balanced abstract composition with architectural vertical forms, gestural brushwork and a restrained palette of warm white, black and ochre, punctuated by vivid red accents. The work has a calm yet expressive modernist character, typical of late 20th-century Scandinavian decorative painting. Presented in a thick wooden frame with gilt inner border. Indistinct signature beginning with “G” visible in the lower right corner. Very good original condition.
