“Cozy” occasional furniture

It's been more than a year since a solid oak headboard had been waiting in the workshop (an old cozy one, you see?)... I had already cut its legs but its weight made it impossible to transform it into wall shelf. So I took the jigsaw again to cut it in two lengthwise! Then the different steps followed: fixing the two elements together, sanding, repairing, patinating, attaching antique feet and accessorizing it to give it a little more personality... Ideal dimensions and an original silhouette for this little occasional piece of furniture that we imagine in an entrance, in the living room, in a bathroom, in a hallway... Or even in a bedroom! Some marks of time on the wood, vestiges of its past...
