Wooden box with vintage marquetry

Beautiful inlaid box with gilded bronze lock. Vintage, 60s or 70s. The structural wood is a softwood type, the wood of marquetry is a hardwood, I think it is oak. The inside and bottom of the box are covered with black plastic paper. The visible black marks inside the lid are paint. The lock is made of gilded bronze. The key does not work (seems to be broken inside) but the box opens and closes very well, simply it cannot be locked! Good vintage condition: some traces of varnish fading on the box and some wear and uncleanable stains on the inner lining. There is a marquetry rod missing at an angle (see photo). The box has been very thoroughly cleaned, so all visible stains are stubborn and uncleanable! Take the time to take a good look at the photos, everything is documented!.
