3092 – pair of daum france vintage bookends from the 1960s, sculptural, this rare and important pair of hot worked crystal bookends signed “daum cross of lorraine france” in very good condition. No cracks or chips. Tiny micro-scratches under the base attesting to their age. Polished pontil trace. Superb light refraction through their specific shaping with beautiful iridescent reflections. Each piece is unique even if they are almost similar. One is 201 mm X 88 mm X 80 mm in height for a weight of 2680 g and the other is 198 mm X 92 mm X 91 mm for a weight of 2880 g. For information, given their weight (5560 g) and the fragility of the material, they will be shipped separately to prevent them from colliding, hence the increased shipping costs.
