Large credenza designed by abraham patijn during the early 1950s for dutch manufacturer zijlstra. Well executed sideboard with lovely art deco elements and a high glossy finish. The drawers are curved on the inside; a typical patijn/zijlstra element. The wood has a vivid look and feel with a beautiful grain. The eye-catching decorative lines, the brass feet, glossy finish, all details so characteristic of the dutch art deco period, with iconic architects such as berlage and julius luthmann. In good vintage condition with some scratches in the finish. Both original keys included.
