Solid wood lamp base by charles dudouyt. French work from the 1940s. Solid dark-colored wood. The foot has a side split and a wound at the top (see photos and zoom in). The electrical system has been modified over the decades (see photos and zoom in). Note that the brass bayonet socket is not perfectly centered (see photos and zoom in). Works with a bayonet bulb not supplied. The lampshade visible in the photos is not supplied. The total height of the foot (including brass socket) is 24.5 cm. The total diameter of the circular base is 17.5 cm.
