Painting "The cage" - François Boucher - excellent condition

We are selling a reproduction (painted and varnished image) of the famous painting by françois boucher entitled "la cage", the original of which is in the bayeux museum. This rural painting, representing a shepherd courting a shepherdess, is highlighted by a superb wooden frame, carved and gilded, in very good condition. Painted in 1763, "the cage" is a work which is part of the series of pastorals, one of the favorite themes of the painter protected by king louis XV and his favorite, the marquise de pompadour. This painting really makes a big impact and will add a romantic and bucolic touch to your interior. Dimensions: - with frame: 61*51*4.5 cm - without frame: 48.5*38.5 cm.
