Fischel bistro chair "Indislocables" solid wood 1940s-1950s

Authentic bistro chair from the famous Fischel manufacture, model stamped "Sièges EF Indislocables" under the seat (see photo). Made in France (Wissembourg) between the 1930s and 1950s. This model stands out for its very graphic modernist lines, featuring a backrest with three flat vertical rungs and fine decorative grooves. True to the reputation of the "Indislocables" range, the solid wood structure is of impeccable stability and robustness. The seat has retained its period charm with its original wool tapestry featuring geometric and botanical patterns (navy blue, ochre, and mustard shades), highlighted by a studded trim. In very good vintage condition. The structure is perfectly sound and solid. Original wood patina.
