Vintage: an earthenware soup tureen from the salins-les-bains factory, a french earthenware factory active mainly in the 19th and 20th centuries, located in the jura region. The "salins france" stamp in a rectangle is typical of productions between the 1920s and 1950s. Charming decoration with very colorful stylized birds characteristic of certain art deco or popular models of this period, sometimes inspired by so-called "neo-rustic" or "exotic" decorations. The crackle visible on the inside is typical of old earthenware, linked to the natural aging of the enamel. The handles and the handle of the lid accentuate the art deco style. Pretty ivory color.
