Superb and large Parisian oak wardrobe from the 1940s, combining ample storage space and optimal depth - perfect for our modern interiors. It is divided into three sections: on the right, a beautiful glass door opens onto four fully adjustable shelves on racks. Note the beautiful keyhole, the functional lock, and, above all, the very pretty, slightly yellowed and scratched glass that gives this door its character. It opens and closes easily. On the left, a hanging section at the top, with an integrated rod, designed to store clothes facing forward, without increasing the depth. It can be converted into shelving space quite easily. The door opens with a beautiful metal handle and clips onto the side thanks to its original brass mechanism. Very practical. Finally, at the bottom, two drawers open with their beautiful metal and gold handles. Note the very elegant pediment, with its discreet floral fresco. A nice bonus: it hides a sizable space behind it, allowing you to store items on top of the cabinet without them being visible! Note the inscription on the back, in a beautiful antique typeface: v4. The lower plinth, slightly fretted, rests lightly on the floor. Very stable and solid, with paneled sides and oak plywood, this beautiful cabinet shows the usual signs of wear but is in excellent overall condition and fully functional. The oak is particularly attractive, offering beautiful grain and a very soft patina. H: 197 cm. W: 102 cm. D: 42 cm.
