Ceramic vase by Marie-Madeleine Jolly France Circa 1950 in blue-grey tones. Dimensions D 35 X H 34 (Neck diameter 15 cm) Marie-Madeleine Jolly was born in 1914 in Orsay, she studied at the Arts-Déco in Paris, then worked in advertising. She married Philippe Madeline, an engineer by training, in 1946. After a stay in Nice, they opened their workshop in Saint-Michel de Villefranche. Together they make ceramics. The ceramics of this couple are signed: MMJOLLY, signature born from the contraction of their two names.
