Folding chair

This pretty wooden folding chair with its charming colors, white and old blue, will have a great effect in a “seaside” decoration. Once folded, it takes up very little space (84 cm by 40 cm for a thickness of 7 cm) and will therefore also be perfect as an extra chair in a small apartment or on a balcony. Unlike many folding chairs with straight slats, it is comfortable with its seat and back in solid, curved wood. The mechanism is amazing with a small wooden wheel that makes folding and unfolding easy. It has cruciform screws whose first use dates back to 1936 in the united states, so I would date it from the 40s to the 60s. It is in good general condition, still very solid but shows the patina of its age and use: paint chipped in places, small various marks. Apart from careful cleaning, I preferred to do nothing more to give you the opportunity to use it as is, to apply a little matte varnish and thus preserve its pretty old patina for a long time or to sand it. Entirely for a revisit to your taste. Open, the seat height is 46 cm and the total height is 75 cm, for a total depth of approximately 43 cm.
