Japanese Chest of Drawers Tansu, Meiji Era

Beautiful lacquered tansu from the meiji period (1868-1912). This cabinet has four drawers and top storage with two sliding doors, all finished with metal hardware. The rust-red lacquerwork makes this cabinet a warm, natural interior piece. A handy storage unit with an authentic oriental touch. Dimensions: height 64 cm, width 62 cm, depth 36 cm. In good condition, with signs of use inherent to its age.
