Original vintage poster from 1909

Engraving from 1909, on the beautiful bird feathers: nearly 50 illustrations from the phoenix rooster to the menure lyre via the lophophore. this is an original over 100 years old and not a copy. the size of the sheet is 31 X 23 cm and the size of the central box 20 X 25.5 cm. the condition of the engraving is very good. signed by adolphe millot (1857-1921) french illustrator in the disciplines of natural history. this lithograph comes from a larousse encyclopedia in french, witness of its time, as much by the content as by the style. the sheet is a high quality wove paper, creamy white, which gives it a vintage cachet.
