Enamelled ceramic pocket bowl – Vallauris / 1950s-70s

Beautiful glazed ceramic bowl, biomorphic shape reminiscent of a shell or a stylised leaf. Handcrafted abstract decoration in deep blue, turquoise green, and ochre yellow on a dark background, with a lovely striped effect. A very decorative creation, characteristic of French art ceramics from the 1950s to 1970s, in the spirit of Vallauris productions. Can be used as a catch-all, jewellery holder, ramekins, or simply as a decorative object on its own. A clear impression can be seen, but the letters are not distinct enough to identify the ceramicist. In very good condition. Dimensions: L20.5 X W17.5 X H3cm.
