Vintage pakistani hand-woven oriental blue bukhara rug from ikea, 1960s

This hand-woven oriental carpet was made in pakistan during the 1960s for ikea. Traditionally flat woven and dyed in shades of navy blue and beige. It was woven using natural wool and cotton. Due to the appropriate treatment, the wool has a beautiful shine. It has a high knot density which makes the carpet durable.
