Italian marble Tazza decorative vase

Decorative marble vase, probably Italian, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The vase is crafted from white-grey veined marble and features richly detailed carvings of bunches of grapes, vines and leaves around the rim. The vase rests on a fluted, baluster-shaped stem with a moulded round base. The decoration draws on the classical imagery associated with Bacchus, the Roman god of wine. In good condition. Only slight signs of wear.
