Extendable dining table in solid pine, Scandinavia, 1970s

A remarkable Scandinavian dining table made of solid pine, dating from the 1970s. The thick round top rests on two sculptural pedestal legs with cross-shaped bases, giving the table a warm yet distinctly brutalist appearance. The table can be used daily in its round version and expands with a central extension to form a large oval table. The pronounced grain of the wood, solid construction, and gently rounded edges give it a lot of character. Condition. Good vintage condition with slight signs of age and use.
