Old painting of a landscape with a river, oil on canvas, 19th century.

Oil on canvas. English school, 19th century. The artist's name is written in pencil on the back, but it is indecipherable. A stream flows tumultuously through a moor of rocks and shrubs; in the background, a mountain with a snow-capped peak rises (and perhaps a crater?). The painting shows slight losses of material. Presented in a period frame.
