Description
Rare! Service of 10 small plates plus a large sandstone made by the pottery of the pond in durtal (near angers). Few pieces bear the mention "deblander creation". Robert deblander (1922–2008) was a. French ceramist, one of the leaders of the pioneers of the post-war stoneware renaissance and a figure of contemporary ceramics. After graduating from the école des arts décoratifs in paris in 1944, robert deblander turned to ceramics by doing several internships with potters. The 10 plates can serve as main plates and the largest as a dish because they measure 23 X 20 cm. The large one is 28 X 25cm. Note: a small plate is chipped on the back but is not seen on the surface. Neat shipping. Take a look at my other articles!.
