Pair of Dutch Sconces Repusse Brass Two Light Wall Moun

40 cm tall X 28 cm wide. 1400 grams X 2. The sconces were initially lacquered to prevent oxidation and to remain glossy in the light-reflecting convex area. During the mid-century period the lacquer was probably stripped and thus discoloured or oxidised portions appeared. Nowadays they are treated with lubricant and are stable in terms of oxidation. The ornamental candle tubes are more recent, the original ones were made of pressed paper and are no longer safe. I shipp these in two separate packages for 40 usd both including customs.
