Bruno Gambone (1936-2021) was an Italian ceramicist, son of Guido Gambone, a major figure in 20th-century Italian ceramics. He began his apprenticeship in his father's workshop in Florence before continuing his training with Andrea d'Arienzo. After a period in New York, he took over his father's workshop and developed his own style, notably creating imaginary animals from the 1970s onward. Bruno Gambone is considered one of the most influential figures in Italian ceramics. His work reveals a complex and experimental personality, marked by a refined artistic sensibility and a constant search for new forms of expression.
