Lit boat Louis-Philippe in walnut, 19th century

Elegant boat bed from the Louis-Philippe period, dating from the mid-19th century. Made of walnut with a beautiful original patina, this bed charms with the elegance of its lines and the richness of its grain, particularly visible on the head and foot panels. Its clean design allows it to fit seamlessly into both a country house and a contemporary interior. The piece is in generally good condition, stable and sound. It retains all the character of its age without recent restoration. External dimensions: Length: 220 cm. Width: 125 cm. Sleeping dimensions: 115 X 195 cm. The bed base and mattress can accompany the sale if desired. A very fine example of 19th-century French furniture, both decorative and functional.
