Napoleon III support table in Boulle marquetry, bronze and marble.
Spectacular Boulle marquetry console table from the Napoleonic III period, featuring a black background, red inlays, and golden metallic patterns. The front opens with a door adorned with a prominent central medallion and a lavish decoration of scrolls. Inside, it reveals a wooden interior fitted with two shelves, providing practical storage space. The piece is particularly remarkable for the richness of its gilded bronze ornaments: female caryatids on the uprights, leaf-framed encasements, friezes, rosettes, and decorative elements at the lower part. The whole is topped with a white marble top with curved corners. Condition: an antique piece showing signs of use and several visible damages and losses, particularly in the marquetry and some lower parts. Some elements are currently held or protected by adhesive. The item is sold as is, with the photographs forming an integral part of the description.
