Large wicker basket

Very beautiful and large wicker basket which, in addition to bringing a warm and natural touch, will find many uses in a house: to store all the stuffed animals or toys, in the evening, in the children's bedroom, to store laundry waiting to be folded, to store cushions and blankets and who knows if your cats won't curl up there this winter! This basket must date from the 60s or 70s. I cleaned it carefully, with a brush, with vinegar water which has the added advantage of restoring a little shine to the wicker without taking away its patina. It is in very good condition for its age, still very solid, well shaped, with just a few damaged strands. But obviously there remain some marks of use and its age: a slight blackening of the wicker located in the bottom of the basket, some abrasions of the strands under its base, a few spindle holes, not active it seems to me, but that I i still treated it consciously by injecting white vinegar (it's my natural insecticide to replace chemicals). At the top, it measures 74 cm in length and 53 cm in width. At the bottom, it measures 50 cm in length by 32 cm in width, for a height of 30 cm.
