A true icon of pop culture and French table arts, this original light beige / cream glazed ceramic teapot adopts the zoomorphic silhouette of an elephant. Initially created in the 1970s as an exclusive reward for loyal customers of the famous Marseille house Thés Éléphant (founded in 1896), this piece was obtained in exchange for the famous "gift points" cut from the boxes. Manufactured at the time by major partner factories, it has become an essential collector's item of Mid-Century advertising art. Its monochrome beige design beautifully highlights its clean lines and ingenious construction: the raised trunk serves as a spout, its tail acts as an ergonomic handle, and its original lid fits perfectly on its back. Period model, stamped and numbered in relief under the base (guaranteeing an original vintage edition and not a modern reissue). Excellent condition. The beige glaze is highly glossy. No cracks, chips, or restorations. The original lid is perfectly preserved.
