Flowered antique ceramic ball

Beautiful and unusual white ceramic ball decorated with hand-painted flowers of pink, purple and yellow color on green leaves. The ball is hollow and has two holes at the ends. It was probably originally a piece of a kerosene lamp or a lamp stand. Very good general condition: small overflows of paint probably original as well as small marks of manufacture, visible from very close only. A very stable object, it can be used in decoration as is or be used to reconstitute a lamp. Dimensions 12 cm X 12 cm.
