Description
New lamp in its original box, never unpacked. Purchase for a café which ultimately never opened its doors. Carton always stored in a suitable storage space. Description: no visible wire, no visible LED: nl 12 thus evokes a celestial beam that is both radical and poetic. To forge its aesthetic touch, Sebastian Summa imagined, in order to suspend it from the ceiling, a pair of metal brackets, similar to gymnastic apparatus, and calculated to perfectly balance the bundle of tubes. With a minimum length of 1.30 meters, the nl12 suspension is made up of twelve non-fixed glass tubes, which can be positioned by sliding them as desired in order to create offsets, or on the contrary by sliding them aligning perfectly with each other. Sebastian Summa is a blacksmith and designer, in line with the metalwork heritage of the Bauhaus. In the raw atmosphere of his East Berlin studio, this sensitive man works on delicate objects inspired by science fiction and astronomy, moving from raw spaces to sophisticated universes.
