Rattan fireside chair by Audoux Minnet, 1950

Large low armchair designed in the 1950s by the duo Adrien Audoux and Frida Minnet. Varnished rattan structure. Reclining backrest with 3 positions, adjustable by a bar on the back of the backrest. Removable cushion covers created by our partner upholsterer with Bultex foam and beige textured fabric. The rattan has a beautiful patina, the varnish is a little chipped in places. A strand of rattan is missing at the bottom of the right front leg and the right rear leg, however the structure of the chair is very solid and stable. The manufacturer's plaque, usually nailed to the rear crossmember, is missing. The seat height is 39cm in the upper part and 20cm in the lower part.
