The Boalum lamp, designed for floor or table use by the Italian manufacturer Artemide, is based on a design by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini from 1970. It features a playful design and is a classic of Italian design. The designers also describe the design as an "endless light snake." The body of the lamp consists of a transparent tube with a supporting structure. At one end, there is a terminal piece with a switch and a power line. At the other end, there is a cap. Inside, there is a flexible construction of white spheres aligned with lights between them. The light snake can be freely draped, knotted, etc., thus becoming a versatile light object. The condition is very good with few signs of wear.
