Beautiful set of 6 antique ironstone plates, signed HBC (Hautin Boulenger & Cie), from the Choisy-le-Roi factory, Rustic model. The lot includes 3 flat plates and 3 deep plates, adorned with a superb hand-painted polychrome floral decoration, as indicated by the stamp on the reverse. Large flowers in shades of pink, yellow, and blue, accompanied by green foliage, decorate the centre of each plate. A bright blue rim highlights the contours. Each piece shows slight variations in its decoration, characteristic of handmade production. A lovely set of antique tableware, ideal for a colourful and authentic table or for lovers of French earthenware. Condition: Generally good condition, with some signs of use. One flat plate has a small stain and a lack of glaze on the rim (see photos). 3 flat plates: diameter 21.5 cm, height 2 cm. 3 deep plates: diameter 22.5 cm, height 4 cm. Total weight: 2 kg.
