Set of 9 crystal wine glasses from the cristallerie royale de champagne. Signed under each foot: "bayel crystal" (see detail photo). Excellent condition (neither shine, nor crack, not or little served). Dimensions: diameter 6cm at the drink X h 12.2cm. The royal crystal factory of champagne was founded in 1678 under the impetus of colbert as part of his strategy to develop industry and foreign trade. It is located at the crossroads of lorraine and burgundy, in the grand est region, land of the greatest crystal makers. In may 2016, following the long economic crisis facing the tableware market, the bayel crystal factory was forced to close its doors permanently.
