Former secretary

18th century secretary in walnut. This small piece of furniture was formerly called a scriban. Nice original patina. Small in width, it fits anywhere in the house. It can accommodate an iPad or a laptop (size 42x25cm). The writing desk and the 2 drawers can be locked using its original key. The central compartment closes with a small handle and an interior latch. Very stable and heavy. Very good condition (a few small old screw holes on one side. Have been treated just in case). Beautiful old workmanship. Note that in one of the drawers there are drawings made by the cabinetmaker such as the golden ratio spiral used to balance the proportions.
