Raw hemp tablecloth 19th xl 320cm X 200cm. Splendid canvas, heavy and dense, artisanal - the hanging points of the loom are visible on the edges of the 1m strips sewn together by a median seam with tiny and perfect stitches. Oat color, beautiful texture, rough and fresh, extraordinary hand hems with practically invisible ends. This spare trousseau cloth was certainly immersed in water and then dried in the open air before being stored under a pile to be unfolded more than a hundred years later. A very very beautiful room, rare in these dimensions.
